This page explains the startup script “zabbix-server” for SAKURA Cloud.

1. Overview

Startup script for easy installation of zabbix-server

A number between 1,024 and 65,534 can be set at the time of installation.

2. Usage procedures

Use the following procedures to create the “zabbix-server” startup script and to specify settings.

Server creation procedures (1)

Click [Server] in the menu on the left, and then click [Add] at the top right.

When creating a server, remove the check from the checkbox for simple mode.

For the archive, select “CentOS7.x.”

Select [zabbix-server].

Zabbix Version

Select from the pull-down menu.

Change the password for the Admin account of Zabbix Web.

Set the password for the Admin account to use when logging in to Zabbix Web-UI. When not entered, the default value will be used.

Change the httpd port number.

Specify a number in the range between 1,024 and 65,534. When not entered, the default value (80) will be used.

Log in to Zabbix Web.

Use the web browser, connect to http://IP Address:PortNumber/zabbix/.

The login screen is displayed. Installation has been successfully completed once you log in and the dashboard is displayed.
